Who are we?
Bellingham Warriors Lacrosse is a non-profit, volunteer run, recreation boys youth lacrosse club for players Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Bellingham and Ferndale school districts. We are part of the North Sound Youth Lacrosse League which includes other clubs in Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties.
Fall ball
The lacrosse fall season is considered a developmental season. This is a great time for returning players to hone their skills before the competitive Spring Season. It is also a GREAT time for new players to join and learn the sport. There are no try-outs to participate! Some details:
- Practices: We will have 2 practices a week (Monday/Wednesday) that focus on skills, team-building, and scrimmage play.
- Games: We will likely play games against other clubs in the league, though it is not a league season.
- Season dates: September 23-November 13
- Tournament: Depending on registration levels, we may play in the WA Love tournament at the end of the season.
- Registration cost: $175 plus processing fee; free for new players (discount code at payment page)
We will send an email with more details as the season gets closer! - Requirements: A valid US Lacrosse Membership is required to register and must be valid for the entire season (through November 2024). To find your US Lacrosse Membership number or to get one for the first time, please visit https://membership.uslacrosse.org.
***Please Note: As of this season, we will be using Sports Engine for team coordination and communication, and will no longer be using Team Snap. Your registration for a Sports Engine account here will enable you to use the app. Please reach out to the bhamwarriors@gmail.com email with any questions.***
REGISTRATION FEES (Spring)
Early Bird Registration by 12/31/23: (prices increase by $25 starting 1/1/24)
- $260 for K-2 players
- $335 for 3/4 players
- $385 for 5/6 players
- $435 for 7/8 players
All tournament fees for the season are included in your registration fee.
A $50 deposit is required to register and your remaining season fees can be broken down into monthly payments or paid in full.
UNIFORMS
We commit to a 2-year rotation for uniforms and Spring 2024 will bring a new uniform cycle.
All players are required to purchase a new uniform jersey and uniform shorts for spring. The price of your uniform is included in this year’s registration fee.
The purchase of a practice pinny is optional, but recommended to help keep the wear and tear of your game uniform to a minimum. If your returning player has a practice pinny (#100+), they are welcome to reuse it for spring or purchase a new pinny if they need a new size.
Jersey numbers will be assigned based on player seniority and registration date. Please register by 1/10/24 to choose your number.
PRACTICES
We are still confirming the details of our practice schedule/fields, but expect for the majority of practices to be held at Orca Field (Whatcom Community College). All teams should expect to practice 2-3x a week for 1-2 hours/practice. Practice days, times and locations are subject to change throughout the season.
